Biog
The country house series feature the amateur sleuthing tandem, Antonia Darcy and Hugh Payne whose relationship combines an intellectual and romantic interest. Each one of the novels so far has revolved around a country house from a different period (viz. Jacobean in Sonya Dufrette, Victorian Gothic in Assassins, etc.). They all follow the classic whodunnit formula and they all contain post modern (?) commentary on the genre. The novels pay homage to the Golden Age of English detective fiction.

My most recent novel, The Little Victim takes place in Goa, a tropical paradise on the west coast of India. While visiting the lush resort of Kilhar, Antonia and Hugh become embroiled in a mysterious murder involving English landed gentry, local mafia and a high-class call girl.
